Creating a web shop

Advantages of the web store over the classic store

  1. Lower operating costs – Internet commerce does not require large investments in space, inventory, staff and other costs that usually occur in traditional commerce. Creating a web shop with its own costs is a smaller part of the cost compared to cost-effectiveness.
  2. Availability 24/7 - The online store operates 24/7, meaning that customers can buy products and services whenever they want, regardless of time and place.
  3. Global market – online commerce allows companies to reach customers around the world, which means that there is great potential for business growth.
  4. Cost reduction – online commerce allows companies to target specific audiences online, which is often cheaper than traditional marketing methods. The cost of people, space, etc. has also been reduced and the company can easily become known as the cheapest online shopping.

Keywords – one of the main factors of a web shop

In order for the creation of a web shop to be successful in business, one of the main factors is the successful analysis of keywords. For each web shop, we do keyword research, and we give customers instructions on how to write a keyword and meta description for each product, which is one of the most important factors of SEO optimization for Google. How keywords are explored you can see here.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Web Shop

As we have written, payment options can be: direct copper transaction (payment on account), cash on delivery, payment via Paypal, payment by bank cards (or Croatian gateway or new Stripe international system). Paying via invoice is a standard option and is recommended to everyone because a large number of people pay in this way. Another method of payment we do not recommend because there is a great risk of not downloading the slaver. For this reason, the web shop can suffer from unplanned gubots. On the other hand, if you know the market or specifically, this payment system can bring results. The third payment method via PayPal requires that you have a business account on PayPal, but the problem with this payment method is that with us this system has not really come to life as in e.g. America, and many people do not have an account on PayPal. We definitely recommend the fourth card payment system, because this payment method simplifies the payment process and is therefore very popular in a wide population.
The answer to this question depends primarily on preferences, but we personally recommend the Stripe system because it is much simpler, but also much cheaper. Stripe system is an international system that entered Croatia when the Euro became our national currency. The cost of the Stripe system is only a commission of 2.9%, and there is no lump sum payment, while our systems have both a lump sum payment and a commission per transaction. There may be a system without a flat-rate, but we haven't heard of it yet. Certainly both Stripe and our systems have the highest levels of protection and represent a safe purchase.
Creating a web shop is a complex process that includes several key steps, from planning and research to publishing and maintenance. The first step is to analyze the target audience to understand their needs and expectations. In parallel, market research is carried out to obtain a clear picture of competition, trends and best practices in the industry. These insights set clear goals for the web shop, such as increasing sales or improving user experience, and define key functionalities such as product categories, payment options and search filters. Once the goals are set, hosting is selected that can support your needs and a domain that reflects your brand is registered. The design of the web shop begins with the creation of basic sketches and prototypes to visualize the user experience. Then comes the creation of visual design, where attention is paid to the selection of colors, typography, icons and images. The design is complemented by a focus on the user experience, ensuring intuitive navigation and ease of use. The development of the web shop involves the integration of payment systems, such as PayPal or Stripe, and the implementation of SEO practices to make the store visible in search engines. Products shall be entered with detailed descriptions, pictures and prices and classified in the appropriate categories. Also, a stock monitoring system is implemented to make trade management easy. Extensive tests are carried out before publishing the web shop. Functional testing ensures the correct operation of key elements, such as the shopping cart and payment process, while compatibility testing checks the operation on different devices and browsers. Security testing ensures the protection of user data and the security of transactions. When all checks are completed, the web shop is set up on hosting and becomes available to the public. However, the work does not end with publication. A key part of success is maintenance and optimization, which includes regular performance monitoring, analysis of traffic and sales data, and updating content such as products and promotions. Technical support plays an important role in maintaining stability, including software updates and solving potential problems. This whole process, although demanding, ensures that the web shop not only meets the needs of users, but also achieves the set business goals.
Creating a web shop is a step in the whole process. When the web shop is finished, we maintain it in a way that you have support in all segments, and we make sure that the web shop works properly, but also that the web shop is constantly upgraded, especially regarding security. We also make sure that licenses and add-ons are always “up ti date”.
When someone buys you something from your site, the money sits in your account and you get a notification that the money has sat down. Stripe checks the transaction and after checking the money you can manually withdraw and it will remember to your bank account, or can be adjusted automatically withdrawing money periodically, every day, week, month, etc.
