When a visitor clicks on such a link, an error is most often displayed <strong>404 Not Found<\/strong> or less often <strong>410 Gone<\/strong>. Both messages mean that there is no page at that address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Error <strong>410 Gone<\/strong> indicates that the page has been deliberately removed permanently and will no longer return. Incorrect return links (Backlinks)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are links from other websites that lead to your site but no longer work. Removed or deleted page<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most common cause of incorrect links is deleting or archiving the page. After a while, they may become invalid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Impact of incorrect links on SEO and user experience<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Incorrect links negatively affect the SEO and user experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the SEO side, they can cause the loss of \"link value\" and PageRank, which reduces search engine positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For visitors, faulty links create frustration and a bad impression.
